Gillian & Mark’s Wedding Celebration at Fruin Farm, Loch Lomondside
I had the absolute pleasure of being the DJ for the brand-new Mr and Mrs Simpson at the beautiful Fruin Farm, nestled on the stunning Loch Lomondside in Argyll and Bute.
From the very start, I knew this was going to be a truly special celebration. Fruin Farm provided the perfect setting — a charming and intimate venue surrounded by breathtaking Scottish scenery, the ideal place for Gillian and Mark to say “I do” and dance the night away with their loved ones.
Before the big day, Gillian and Mark shared their vision for the evening’s music. They told me how much they both loved EMO and Pop Punk, and wanted that to feature heavily in their wedding playlist. I loved the idea — it’s always exciting when a couple brings something unique and personal to their celebration. Together, we built a playlist that mixed their favourite genres with a few timeless wedding classics and some special requests that meant a lot to them.
When the evening arrived, the atmosphere was electric. As soon as the first beats kicked in, guests rushed to the dance floor — and they hardly left it all night! The energy was incredible, the laughter was contagious, and the love in the room was unforgettable. It’s nights like this that remind me why I love being a wedding DJ — seeing a couple’s personality shine through their music choices and watching everyone come together to celebrate it.
