I had the pleasure to celebrate Daisy and Rhonan’s by being the DJ at their evening reception at the Cottiers Theatre in Glasgow’s west end.
From their very first dance, Depeche Mode – Enjoy the silence, the dance floor was full all evening. I was given a very good brief from the couple on what they wanted their wedding playlist to be, by meeting in pre wedding consultations and via my online planning system by dj event planner. On the evening I was given lots of great requests by their guest via a QR code that was made available on the tables.
This was a great end to their celebrations. The guests had a ball. Great couple, guests and venue. I have to say this is up there with my favourite wedding venues in Glasgow. Thanks very much to the staff Kim – the wedding co-ordinator, to Ben and Luke the sound engineers who helped pre and on the night with the sound and lighting inside the theatre.

A little something for the DJs
On the evening I did not have to take a lot of equipment due to the venue having its own sound system which included monitors for the DJ. The theatre also had its own lighting system. Load in is great too, in the back fire door to the side of where you set up your disco equipment. Although parking could be an issue in this area of Hyndland.
On the evening my equipment list was,

This lead to a fast room turn around and a fast disco set up ready for cake cutting and first dance.
